Autodesk Plot Update

Problem
Why is my DesignJet Plotter going through drive belts so often?
Fix
If your plotter is located near a Diazo (Blueline) machine the ammonia used may be causing your problems. Ammonia vapor from these machines can be quite strong and is also corrosive causing the belts to wear prematurely.  After replacing the belts it is recommended that you move the plotter to another room or at least as far as possible from the Diazo machine in some cases ventilators can be added to the machine.
