Do you have trouble loading media in your
Hewlett Packard DesignJet plotter?

A common
problem with inkjet printers & plotters is media rejection due to a dirty
drive roller. Over time the drive roller will start to get a coating of ink on
it. The roller is designed to be non reflective so the optical sensor can see
the edge of the paper but ink is reflective.
A simple fix
to this problem is simple wipe off the drive roller using a mild cleaner. This
may take several cleanings to clean all the way around the roller but it will
eliminate most media loading problems.
