Eric Herring’s professional experience includes CAD management, Hewlett Packard plotter expertise, and network administration. Eric specializes in Autodesk’s Architectural Desktop and is a an Autodesk-certified instructor for both AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop.
Eric has a Technical Associate Degree in Drafting/CADD Technology from the High-Tech Institute in Phoenix, Arizona with an emphasis on Architectural Drafting. In addition to architectural products, Eric is an experienced network administrator with Microsoft operating systems and networking. Eric is a certified Autodesk trainer and has taught AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop and Softdesk Architectural classes. He was part of the training team that instructed Pacific Gas & Electric on JET – custom software for the utility industry, and currently is part of the PG&E help desk staff while working with the development team on all issues concerning plotters, configuration, installation and AutoCAD 2000 output related issues.
An experienced member of the training and support team at N8-3D Solutions, Eric has over 12 years of CAD, architectural and networking experience spanning the architectural, engineering and design industries to pre- and post-sales product support for Value Added Resellers (VARs) in the Southwest. Eric specializes in Hewlett Packard large format plotter support, installation and configuration and is an HP certified technician qualified to troubleshoot, configure and repair HP plotters.
